Well...it took a lot of bad attempts to come up with a good picture =) That's one of the good things about a digital camera; you can delete the failed attempts.
I just set the camera on a tripod and turned on the self timer. I took me a while to estimate exactly when it goes off (the beeping does help). Fiddling around with the shutter speed helps as well; a slow shutter speed is good for the fuzzy hair still-moving look, but a fast shutter speed is good for clarity, so I suppose you just have to find a middle ground.
